What We Treat

At Wolf Creek Recovery in beautiful and sunny Prescott, Arizona, we recognize the toll that substance use can take on a person’s life.

It doesn’t just affect their physical health but also their mental, spiritual and social well-being. As difficult as it is to live with a substance use disorder, it’s important to know that it is treatable. The key is to solve the underlying issues for the substance use such as unresolved trauma, low self-esteem or untreated mental illness.

Wolf Creek Recovery provides comprehensive treatment services that meet our clients where they are. Whether you are just starting your journey or looking to support your recovery with outpatient services, we have programs to meet your needs. All services are delivered in a caring, compassionate setting with support staff who have been through this process themselves.

How We Treat Substance Use Disorders

Addiction is a complex mental health disorder that requires robust, personalized treatment services. Wolf Creek Recovery is prepared to deliver this comprehensive treatment under one roof. Here is the process that we follow:

Detoxification Referral Service

The first step to sobriety is usually detox, a process in which harmful toxins are removed from the body. Wolf Creek Recovery and its referral service helps you find medical detox with 24-hour supervision. This ensures all clients receive the attention and support they need to manage their symptoms and reduce cravings.

Therapy

Therapy is where the healing continues. We call this the “nuts and bolts” of the recovery process because this is where you will be learning about the underlying motivations for your substance use. Many of our licensed counselors and therapists have walked this road before and can offer you the compassion and understanding you deserve.

Wolf Creek Recovery offers a wide range of therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). In addition to our evidence-based treatment, we introduce our clients to various holistic techniques like nutritional counseling, sports, life skills training, and creative expression through art and music.

As a dual diagnosis treatment center, we also treat co-occurring mental health disorders, including bipolar, depression, generalized anxiety disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). With a combination of therapy and medication, we can help you successfully manage the symptoms of mental illness so they do not trigger you to return to drugs or alcohol.

Extended Care

It takes time to learn the underlying reasons for the substance use and establish new ways to cope with stressful situations and emotions, which is why we provide an Extended Care Program. We recommend this program to those who are at a higher risk for relapse. This program lasts for 90+ days and offers more time for clients to heal and adjust to their new lives.

Wolf Creek Recovery is proud to offer a full spectrum of care to our clients. If you have any questions about the disorders we treat and how we treat them, contact us today at (833) 732-8202.
