Where is your facility located and what services do you offer?
Wolf Creek Recovery is located in beautiful and sunny Prescott, Arizona. Our treatment facility is welcoming and made to feel like home – not a sterile hospital-like setting. We have support staff available 24-hours a day, along with a house manager.
The services offered at our Arizona treatment center are partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), outpatient (OP) and extended care. Within these programs, we provide a wide range of evidence-based and holistic therapies so that each client receives a personalized, well-rounded treatment plan.
How often will I see my clinicians?
You will meet individually with a Masters Level Clinician up to 3 times weekly. This also depends on your individual needs. Clients who are in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), for example, see their clinicians more frequently than those in our outpatient program (OP). While you’re at our rehab facility, you will have around-the-clock access to support staff. Wolf Creek Recovery is always available for our clients and their family!

How long does drug rehab in Arizona last?
On average, drug treatment programs last for 30, 45 or 60 days. This is a great start to your recovery, but it’s often not enough to change habits for the long term. If you can, we highly recommend our Extended Care Program that lasts up to 1 year. This gives you enough time to work on your recovery, apply the skills you’re learning and develop healthy habits.
That said, we understand that not everyone can commit to a longer program. In this case, we recommend starting with a 30-day program and utilizing our aftercare planning services which include legal assistance, mock interviews, job search help and more.
Why should I choose Wolf Creek Recovery for addiction treatment?
Wolf Creek Recovery offers a range of care, from detox referrals to extended care treatment plans. Our unique facility utilizes evidence-based therapies, including EMDR, CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing. We also offer adventure and sports therapies as complementary program options. With over 30 years of experience, we provide individualized care that honors each unique person that works with us. We utilize various therapies for healing each person, focusing on their body, mind, and spirit. Whether you’re looking for detox to handle withdrawals, residential treatment, PHP, IOP, OP, or aftercare, Wolf Creek Recovery can help you find your way in recovery.
How long does rehab usually take?
Wolf Creek Recovery offers programs for 30, 60, and 90-plus days. We highly recommend that our patients stay with us for as long as they can. We have found that for most people, 30 days is simply not long enough to treat addiction and achieve lasting recovery successfully. We recognize that not everyone can be away from their responsibilities for several months. Still, we will work with you to ensure you are as equipped for the “real world” as possible following your time with Wolf Creek Recovery. The more time you allow yourself to learn and develop solid strategies for coping and relapse prevention, the greater your chances of lasting recovery.
What's the shortest time I can stay in rehab for treatment?
The shortest time for rehab for addiction treatment is usually 30 days. We highly recommend that individuals stay longer than 30 days, but we realize that not everyone can be in a rehab program for longer than that. If you can only work with Wolf Creek for 30 days, it’s crucial to have a robust support system in place for when you return home. Our clinicians and therapists customize treatment programs for each individual needing addiction treatment to make the most out of whatever time they can stay in rehab. Most addiction professionals recommend 60-, 90-, or 120-day programs for addiction treatment.
What treatment options do you have for addiction at your rehab facilities?
Our drug and alcohol rehab facilities offer a full spectrum of treatment options, from detox referrals to residential care, to outpatient care, and everything in between. Our personalized treatment plans include options for trauma therapy (EMDR), dual diagnosis care, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, 12 steps introduction, and other holistic treatment options. We also offer outdoor and golf therapy to help our clients build healthy habits and find alternative methods to cope with everyday stress. Through a combination of these treatment protocols, we work with each individual to provide them with the tools and skills necessary to navigate a lasting sober life.
Do you only offer addiction treatment services at your rehab facilities?
Wolf Creek Recovery offers addiction treatment and mental health treatment services at our rehab facilities. Dual diagnosis care is crucial to providing lasting recovery as many patients come to us with an underlying mental health condition that has either led to addiction or worsened it. Even if someone doesn’t have another diagnosed mental health condition, utilizing mental health therapies and treatment protocols during addiction treatment can be highly beneficial to individuals with substance use disorders. If necessary, our clinicians can also prescribe medications to manage the symptoms of mental illness.
What happens if I relapse?
Relapse isn’t inevitable. However, if you do relapse, you must get help right away. So often, when a person relapses, they slip back into the old patterns of substance use instead of looking at it as a temporary setback. Be patient and kind to yourself. You may feel shame and embarrassment but can return to the right path by seeking help. If you relapse, get medical attention as soon as possible, reach out to your support system, and contact a trusted rehab facility, like Wolf Creek Recovery, to get back on track.
Does my insurance cover addiction treatment?
Wolf Creek Recovery accepts most private insurance providers; in many cases, your insurance will cover your treatment. If you are unsure about your insurance coverage for addiction treatment, contact our admissions department and have your insurance information available. We will verify your insurance benefits and determine how much your insurance will cover. We also offer affordable private pay options. Please contact us today to learn about our affordable personal pay rates or verify your addiction treatment insurance benefits.
What are the most important things to look for in an outpatient rehab program?
The first thing to verify when looking for an outpatient rehab program is that the facility is licensed, accredited, and certified. Wolf Creek Recovery is verified by Psychology Today and is LegitScript Certified.
Individualized programs are also important when looking at an outpatient rehab program. Addiction treatment that utilizes a one-size-fits-all approach does not consider our differences as humans. For some people, 60 days of care may be enough to set the stage for lasting recovery, while others may need 90 or 120 days to feel confident and ready to stop treatment.
How long does the detox process last?
Detox programs typically last between 3 and 10 days. However, several variables determine how long the detox process will last. These include which substance was used, if more than one substance was used, how often and how much of the substance you used, the last time you used it, and your overall medical history. Your age and gender may also impact the length of the detox process. If you are unsure whether you will need detox, contact Wolf Creek Recovery’s admissions team for a confidential assessment. We provide referrals to reputable medically supervised detox facilities if you need detox before beginning addiction treatment.
